
As part of its £18million refurbishment, The Grosvenor Hotel launched a brand-new cocktail bar. It asked Impact to come up with a name and branding to present the bar as a high-end, luxury venue, in keeping with the hotel’s unique character, and a destination in its own right.
Impact drew on the hotel’s history and heritage to create the “Reunion Champagne & Cocktail Bar” branding and marketing material. We commissioned new photography featuring the new bar and its signature cocktails, supported by a rich blue colour palette and stylish logo, which flowed through all the material to give a consistent, five-star appeal.
We launched a teaser campaign during the refurbishment to build the database, and invited all those registered to a series of opening events.
From launch, the bar exceeded all expectations, capitalising on the vibrant local area and the transient nature of the railway hotel guests, whilst maintaining the kudos of a destination bar, with regular private bookings and functions.
