Brief

PDSA is Britain’s leading veterinary charity. Through its 51 Pet Hospitals nationwide, it provides 2.6 million treatments every year for pets whose owners find themselves in difficult circumstances.

In 2014, PDSA introduced a completely new brand identity and needed support from an established agency with a proven track record of providing the service levels and creativity PDSA needed to establish its new brand, and take the charity in a new direction.

Impact were introduced to the senior marketing team and appointed in November 2014.

Solution

Working closely with the client, we spent time gaining a detailed understanding of both the new brand identity, and PDSA’s objectives.

Our long experience of working with charities and not-for-profit organisations helped us quickly establish PDSA’s operational needs, and the service levels required to meet them.

On every project, we took a strategic view to ensure that, as well as adhering precisely to the new brand guidelines, we were addressing PDSA’s commercial objectives and creating engaging materials with genuine standout.

Results

To date, we’ve produced a wide range of materials, from the charity’s flagship annual PDSA Animal Wellbeing (PAW) Report, to fund-raising materials, to posters for PDSA Pet Hospital waiting-rooms.

PDSA is delighted with the levels of both service and creativity, making Impact “very easy to deal with: and “truly bringing the new identity to life”.
